David and Cisco's Real Deal Hondas

For some gear heads, the word Honda conjures up images of a four door, mid 90's Civic, that someone drove down the tacky aisle, with the crap magnet turned on full blast. I'm not sure why that is (well I have an idea) but there are definitely some real performance Honda's out there, and to prove that there's more than one, we put 2 in this double feature.  Read on and check out these clean and fast examples of how it should be done.

There's not a lot of daily driver 1936 Ford trucks out there, let alone one that's actually used like a truck; Cletus Riedel has built one that's both. I had a blast meeting with Cletus at his shop to talk about the 36 truck, take some pictures, and burn some rubber.

What we're about

Garage Built Rides.com is a blog that features real world custom cars, hot rods, trucks, race cars and motorcycles built in home garages on realistic budgets by real people like you and me. You won't find any OCC, Chip Foose type $130,000 + builds here, no trailer queens, no super car wallpapers, no reviews on unobtanium wheels, $15,000 stereo systems, or celebrity vehicles (maybe if they built it themselves?).

Josh Hind's 2.0 E85 WRX

In a sea of modded 2.5 WRX's, Josh Hind's 2.0 WRX stands out like a fast sore thumb. In the 5 years he's owned it, he's learned a lot about the car, and what it takes to build one without going broke or crazy.

On July 16th Clouds of black smoke filled the air at the Albuquerque dragstrip as trucks you would normally see towing race trailers to the track, turned out themselves to race, some turning sub 13 second ET's!
